Vox appoints new provincial leader in Albacete and closes youth campus in Cáceres

On Sunday, the Spanish far‑right party Vox presented its new provincial executive committee in Albacete, naming Javier García Morcillo as provincial president. He will be supported by vice‑president María Balado, manager and treasurer Faustino Moreno, and inter‑municipal coordinator Román Jesús González. The committee pledged to defend public services, local commerce and security, and announced plans to meet with neighbourhood associations, merchants and social groups.

At the same time, Vox concluded the ninth edition of its "Patriotic Campus" in Cáceres. The three‑day event, attended by Óscar Fernández, vice‑president of the Extremadura regional government, and MEP Jorge Buxadé, featured conferences and debates on Spanish history, European heritage and the defence of western identity. Organisers highlighted themes of national sovereignty, freedom, border protection and European cultural roots.
