VOX demands recovery of railway connections in Jaén

VOX representatives met with the ADIF Works Committee in Linares to discuss the deteriorating railway situation in the province of Jaén. Regional deputy Beatriz Sánchez described the province as a railway “black hole,” citing three decades of service reductions and a loss of connections to major cities such as Madrid and Córdoba.

The meeting focused on the need for better coordination between the central government, the Junta de Andalucía, and local administrations to recover essential rail links. While the party presented proposals to study potential solutions and utilize existing infrastructure, no specific budget, construction schedule, or prioritized lines were announced during the encounter.
