Vox fiscal simulator gains popularity ahead of elections

A fiscal simulator linked to the Vox political party has become a viral tool among workers in Spain. The calculator, available on a dedicated website, allows users to estimate changes to their monthly net income based on the party's proposed tax reforms.

Users can input data such as gross annual salary, number of payments, contract type, and family situation. The tool also considers proposed deductions for mortgage interest, rent, school expenses, and domestic caregivers—items not currently deductible under state IRPF rules. The simulation compares current 2026 taxation against the Vox economic program, titled ‘El hexágono de la prosperidad’.

While the tool provides specific estimates, such as a projected increase for a worker earning 30,000 euros, experts note that the results are approximations rather than guaranteed figures. The simulator's popularity has also sparked debate among economists regarding the potential cost of these tax cuts to public finances.
