Vox leader Gavira refuses seats on Andalusian parliamentary board after election
Following the recent Andalusian regional election, Vox representative Manuel Gavira announced he would not accept any of the seats offered by the People's Party on the new parliamentary board, stating that the party wants its ideas reflected in the governing programme rather than symbolic chairs.
The People's Party secured five of the seven board positions, with the PSOE taking the remaining two. Gavira’s refusal is linked to Vox’s broader “priority national” rhetoric, which has drawn criticism for promoting exclusionary policies.
