Vox leaders urge broader appeal and PP partnership in Spain

Vox deputy Ignacio Garriga told reporters that the People’s Party is a key partner for building a "dignified Spain" and accused the PSOE of institutionalising corruption. He outlined the party’s priorities, including deregulation, tax cuts, stricter immigration controls and changes to the electoral law.

In a separate interview, Vox secretary‑general Joan Garriga said the party’s electoral strategy is to win votes from all parties. He linked the recent World Cup victories to a resurgence of patriotism in Catalonia and criticised the rise of separatist sentiment, calling for a stronger state presence, investment in housing and security measures. Garriga emphasized that Vox offers an alternative to the PSC and other parties.

Both politicians presented Vox as a national alternative aiming to reshape Spain’s political landscape through alliances with the PP and a focus on law‑and‑order policies.
