Vox secures 50% cut to union and employer funding in Andalusia
The Vox party has secured a 50% reduction in institutional participation funding for the UGT and CCOO unions, as well as the Confederation of Employers of Andalusia (CEA), in the first Andalusian budget. Under the investiture pact signed with the PP, the combined total for these entities will drop from 7.08 million euros to 3.54 million euros, effective in the 2027 accounts.
Vox argues that public resources should be directed toward citizens and regional services rather than sustaining union and employer structures. The agreement also includes a measure to reduce aid to private entities that cannot demonstrate effective public utility.
