Vox selects Marcela Reigía to lead Cáceres congressional candidacy

Marcela Reigía Vales, a Madrid-born lawyer, has been chosen by the Vox party to head the congressional candidacy for the province of Cáceres in the upcoming general elections on November 29.

Reigía's professional background is primarily in law. She founded Reigía Vales Abogados in 2014 and recently joined Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo as a partner in the procedural area. Her political experience includes a 2019 municipal run in Alcobendas, Madrid, where she served as a counselor for the municipal company EMARSA.

Notably, Reigía has no documented public ties or professional history in Extremadura, and regional Vox sources have indicated they are unfamiliar with her appointment.
