Voyageurs du Monde reports slight revenue growth in H1 2026

Voyageurs du Monde reported a slight increase in revenue for the first half of 2026, with sales reaching €323.4 million compared to €317.3 million in the first half of 2025, a growth of 1.9%.

Growth was primarily driven by adventure travel, which rose 4.7%, and cycling holidays, which increased by 5.7%. Conversely, tailor-made travel saw a slight decline of 0.6%. Despite the revenue increase, the group's net income attributable to owners fell by 20% to €4.6 million, and EBITDA decreased by 2.7% to €10.8 million.

The company noted that geopolitical instability, specifically the conflict in the Middle East, has significantly impacted operations since late February 2026. This has resulted in disruptions to travel in Jordan, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, necessitating repatriations and trip cancellations. Additionally, flight disruptions through regional hubs have affected travelers heading to Asia, Oceania, and East Africa, contributing to a general contraction in demand.
