Cape Verdean goalkeeper Vozinha, who joined Colo Colo for the second half of 2026, is adjusting to life in Chile and representing his national team in Africa. While in Santiago, the 40-year-old has been noted for his friendly demeanor at a bakery in Vitacura, where he interacts casually with local customers, including supporters of rival clubs.

During his recent international duties with Cape Verde for Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mali and Rwanda, Vozinha gifted his teammates jerseys from his time at Colo Colo. The black jerseys, featuring his nickname and number 29, were described by teammate Gilson Benchimol as a gesture from a leader. The club has also integrated these jerseys into its official commercial offerings.
