Vrancea firefighters and gendarmes run community safety events

Firefighters from the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations "Anghel Saligny" in Vrancea County visited the village of Gura Caliței from July 29‑31, engaging about 40 children aged 7 to 17. They taught fire‑prevention measures, how to call the emergency number 112, and demonstrated rescue equipment.

From August 1‑6, 2026, Vrancea gendarmes, together with mobile gendarmerie units, police officers from the Vrancea Police Inspectorate and local firefighters, carried out an integrated security mission at the "Bâlciul din Adjud" fair. Their aim was to prevent incidents, protect participants and ensure the event proceeded safely, urging attendees to behave responsibly and follow the instructions of authorities.
