Vreugderijkerwaard hosts walking event focused on meaningful conversation

A special walking event titled ‘Deep Talk Walk’ will take place in the Vreugderijkerwaard on Saturday, September 26. Organized by JP de Kam and Ra van den Berg as part of the ‘Week tegen Eenzaamheid’ (Week Against Loneliness), the 6.5-kilometer walk focuses on meaningful conversation rather than just physical exercise.

Under the theme ‘Samen & Alleen’ (Together & Alone), participants will engage in discussions regarding the nuances of solitude and connection. The program includes paired conversations, playful exercises, moments of silence, and periods of walking alone. The event is designed to provide space for authentic interaction beyond typical small talk and is open to anyone interested in personal development.
