Vriddhi Media pivots to AI recommendations for D2C growth
Vriddhi Media, a Delhi-based organic growth and online reputation management (ORM) firm, is shifting its focus toward the recommendation layer to drive growth for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands.
This strategic shift responds to changes in how consumers discover products. While traditional growth relied on SEO and performance marketing, the rise of AI-driven recommendations is creating a new discovery landscape. Data from Moz indicates that 88% of Google AI Mode citations do not match the URLs found in the top 10 search results, suggesting that traditional page-one rankings may no longer be the sole metric for visibility.
Founder Rishabh Nanda noted that as users turn to tools like ChatGPT for decision shortcuts rather than browsing lists of links, brands must prioritize being recommended within these new systems. Vriddhi Media has worked with over 100 D2C brands across sectors such as skincare, nutrition, and luxury goods to navigate this transition from search rankings to recommendation-based discovery.
