Várkonyi Andrea dismisses Tóth Ildikó's safe‑delivery claims as nonsense

Following the April elections, Hungarian businesswoman Tóth Ildikó alleged that she had assisted politician Hadházy Ákos and shared photographs of luxury NER‑related items, later claiming a safe was lowered into Várkonyi Andrea’s home by helicopter. In two separate interviews Várkonyi Andrea refuted any personal contact with Tóth Ildikó, stating, “I do not know Tóth Ildikó,” and described the allegations as “extremely entertaining.” She clarified that a heavy safe was indeed installed in her residence, but it was delivered with a crane, not a helicopter, noting that such aerial operations are not permitted in residential areas.

The dispute highlights ongoing tensions among prominent Hungarian investors and media personalities, with Várkonyi emphasizing the implausibility of the helicopter story and questioning the credibility of Tóth Ildikó’s statements.
