Véron school director threatened with death by parent
A school director in Véron, Yonne, was subjected to death threats by the mother of a student. According to the mayor of the commune, Steve Campagne, the incident included a throat-slitting gesture and the verbal threat, “It is going to go badly for you.”
Both the teacher and the mayor have filed formal complaints. The mayor has requested the exclusion of the children and their family from the commune's schools.
Jean-Baptiste Lepetz, the academic director of Yonne, stated that the school director has issued a provisional order suspending the parent's access to the school. Additionally, functional protection has been granted to the teacher. Lepetz condemned the actions as “particularly serious.”
