Véronique Sanson headlines July concerts at French festivals

French singer Véronique Sanson performed a tribute show titled “Révérence Sanson” on 29 July at the Amphithéâtre Bella Ciao in Gattières. The 90‑minute concert featured six professional musicians interpreting her biggest hits and included explanatory comments about the songs’ meanings.

In the Gironde region, Sanson was the headliner of the Confluent d’Arts festival held from 6‑8 July at Château de La Rivière. The paid concert, titled “Hasta Luego”, saw her backed by a ten‑musician ensemble on a reduced stage size. Opening act Renaud Hantson delivered a tribute to Michel Berger. Ticket sales were brisk, with the 2 000‑seat venue expected to sell out.

Both events underline Sanson’s continued popularity on the French summer concert circuit.
