VRSTY announces new album ‘ícon’ and single ‘sugar’

The New York City-based musical collective VRSTY has announced the release of their new album, titled ‘ícon’. The album is scheduled to arrive on October 23 via Spinefarm.

In conjunction with the album announcement, the group released a music video for their latest single, ‘sugar’. Singer Joey Tyler described the track as an exploration of the addictive nature of love, noting the difficulty of balancing the concept of a love song with the theme of addiction.

The track listing for ‘ícon’ includes ‘sugar’, ‘face down’, ‘dear whoever’, ‘ez2find’ featuring Brian Butcher, ‘fake’, ‘grief machine’, ‘over the moon’, and ‘what’s the point’ featuring Intervals and Cartographer.
