Várzea Grande: Crowd loots pig cargo after truck overturns

A group of people was filmed looting a cargo of pigs after a transport truck overturned on the BR-070 highway in Várzea Grande, near Cuiabá. The incident caused significant commotion along the roadside and required intervention by the Federal Highway Police to contain the crowd and secure the area.

Videos captured by passing motorists show individuals entering the truck's cargo compartment to seize both live and deceased animals. Preliminary information from the highway concessionaire, Nova Rota do Oeste, suggests the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the rollover. The driver sustained only minor injuries and was taken to a local emergency room for evaluation.
