Várzea Grande dental center begins R$ 700,000 renovation

The Specialized Dental Center (CEO) in Várzea Grande has begun a renovation project valued at approximately R$ 700,000. Funded by a parliamentary amendment from Deputy Eliseu Nascimento, the project aims to improve the facility's physical structure and modernize its service areas.

Key improvements include the replacement of 17 dental chairs, new flooring, interior painting, and room adjustments. The renovation also includes radiological shielding in one room to accommodate a new panoramic X-ray machine being acquired by the municipality. Additionally, R$ 250,000 has been allocated for new equipment to expand service capacity.

To minimize disruption, the center will remain operational during the works, though patient services will be reduced by approximately 50%. The project is expected to be completed in five to six months.
