Várzea Grande Health Department Calls on Women to Update Registration for Family Planning Surgery

Women in Várzea Grande who have completed all steps of the municipal Family Planning Program are required to update their contact information at the Secretaria Municipal de Saúde during August. The health authority identified that many of the roughly 90 women on the waiting list could not be reached because phone numbers on file are outdated.

Superintendent Giliard Silva instructed patients to visit the regulation desk at the health secretariat on Avenida da FEB between 8:00‑12:30 and 13:30‑17:00. After confirming their details, they will be referred for a surgical risk assessment, the mandatory step before the planned procedures, to avoid further scheduling delays.
