Várzea Grande leads microentrepreneur services in Baixada Cuiabana
Várzea Grande has led the Baixada Cuiabana region in services provided to Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEIs) for the second consecutive month. According to data from Sebrae’s Metropolitan Service Partner Network, the municipality’s Entrepreneur Room recorded 2,674 services as of September 28, surpassing the 2,537 services registered in the capital city.
The municipality outperformed other regional cities, including Nobres, Poconé, Nova Brasilândia, Nossa Senhora do Livramento, Cuiabá, and Santo Antônio do Leverger. The high volume of activity highlights a growing demand for business formalization, regularization, and guidance.
Managed by the Várzea Grande City Hall through the Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development, Technology, and Tourism in partnership with Sebrae, the Entrepreneur Room offers services such as business registration, tax guidance, and referrals for professional training. Fabyane Nagazawa, the municipal secretary, attributed the increased demand to improved service outreach and qualification programs.
