Várzea Grande inaugurates community center for urban cleaning workers

The Mayor of Várzea Grande, Flávia Moretti, has officially inaugurated the Centro de Convivência dos Garis, a dedicated facility designed to support urban cleaning workers.

The new center includes essential amenities such as dormitories, a cafeteria, male and female restrooms, a vegetable garden, and rest areas. Mayor Moretti stated that the project was initiated after observing a lack of adequate infrastructure for workers, specifically noting the previous absence of female restrooms and proper spaces for meals and rest.

Local officials and workers highlighted the facility as a significant step in recognizing the contributions of municipal cleaning staff to the city.
