Várzea Grande Municipal Guard to host community cycling event

The Várzea Grande Municipal Guard is organizing the traditional ‘Pedal da Guarda’ cycling event this Thursday (27) as part of the ‘Agosto Lilás’ campaign. The event is free and open to the public, aiming to promote physical activity and community integration.

Participants will gather at Praça Armando Salém at 7:30 PM, with the ride departing at 8:00 PM toward Mirante das Águas. The route is designed to be light and safe for all ages, including children and beginners. To facilitate participation, a partner company will offer bicycle rentals for a symbolic fee. The event will also include hydration, fruit and açaí distribution, and prize giveaways.
