Várzea Grande professor killed by 13 stab wounds, autopsy reveals
An autopsy has confirmed that 25-year-old professor Breno Antonio Humberto de Moraes died from hemorrhagic shock caused by 13 stab wounds in Várzea Grande.
According to Delegate Bruno Abreu of the Specialized Homicide and Person Protection Police (DHPP), the necropsy revealed deep vascular lesions in the neck and abdomen. The report also noted three cutting wounds to the external genitalia, all of which were inflicted while the victim was still alive.
Due to the intensity of the violence and the nature of the injuries, investigators are evaluating whether the crime should be classified as involving ‘cruel means’ (meio cruel).
