Várzea Grande reinforces municipal health supplies

The Várzea Grande Municipal Health Secretariat has received a new shipment of essential medical supplies to reinforce the municipal health network's stock. The delivery was transported to the Center for Storage and Distribution of Supplies and Medicines (CADIM).

The shipment includes 60,000 units of 100 ml saline solution, 750,000 glucose test strips, 500 glucose monitoring devices, 60,000 electrodes, 75,000 infusion sets, and 2,000 boxes of large procedure gloves. These materials are intended to serve the entire network, ranging from primary care units to emergency services, including the Ipase and Cristo Rei Urgent Care Units (UPAs) and the Municipal Hospital and Emergency Care Center.

Health Secretary Michael Alves stated that this replenishment is part of an ongoing planning and organizational effort to ensure that users of the Unified Health System (SUS) in Várzea Grande receive necessary treatments and care. Distribution to the various health units is scheduled to begin this week following a verification and cataloging process.
