Political and municipal activities reported across Brazil

Various municipal and regional political activities are underway across Brazil. In Balneário Camboriú, state deputy Paulinha (Podemos) officially launched her campaign for federal deputy at an event attended by over 2,000 people, including several mayors and political leaders from Santa Catarina.

Other regional administrative developments include:

- Atibaia launched the ‘Friends of Public Space’ program to encourage private maintenance of municipal assets. - Várzea Grande conducted training for health sector employees on contract management and oversight. - Viçosa scheduled a public hearing to discuss regulations for motorcycle and tricycle delivery workers. - Várzea Paulista and Aparecida de Goiânia are holding public hearings to discuss their respective 2027 Annual Budget Laws (LOA). - In Parauapebas, the Department of Community Relations met with local residents to discuss social actions and land regularization. - The ‘Voz Única 2026’ project in Guaramirim gathered 31 candidates to debate regional development priorities for Northern Santa Catarina.
