Vsetín extends lead in Czech First Hockey League

Vsetín strengthened its position at the top of the Czech First Hockey League table with a 3-0 victory over Litoměřice. The win increases Vsetín's lead at the top to four points.

Litoměřice faced significant challenges during the match, playing with a severely depleted roster. Coach Daniel Tvrzník reported that the team was missing 15 regular players due to illness and injury, forcing the club to rely on nine junior players to fill the lineup. Despite the shortage, Litoměřice requested a postponement of the match, which Vsetín declined.

Vsetín's victory was supported by a shutout from goaltender Miroslav Svoboda and scoring contributions from players including Tomáš Šmerha and Pavel Klhůfek. Following the result, Litoměřice dropped to fourth place in the standings.
