Västerås: 15-year-old charged with aggravated rape of a child

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated rape of a child following a brutal assault on a 12-year-old boy in Västerås, Sweden. The incident occurred on March 21, when a group of youths gathered at a residence to play billiards and wrestle.

According to the victim's account, he was chased around a billiard table and pinned to a sofa while two individuals held his arms. A billiard cue was then forced into his anus, causing life-threatening injuries, including a perforated bowel. The victim required emergency surgery at Akademiska Hospital in Uppsala to treat the condition, which carries risks of sepsis and organ failure.

The accused maintains that the incident was merely a “joke fight,” despite testimony from another youth stating the victim screamed for the assault to stop and appeared to be in pain.
