VT Kebradeira arrested three times in 24 hours in João Pessoa

Influencer VT Kebradeira, real name Ewerton Cláudio, 25, was taken into custody three times within a 24‑hour period in the Mangabeira neighbourhood of João Pessoa, Brazil.

The first arrest occurred on the night of Thursday, 30 May, after police were called for a disturbance. He was accused of damaging a vehicle, destroying furniture, threatening residents, possessing illegal drugs and resisting police, which required the use of a taser. He received medical care before being taken to the police station.

Early on Friday, 31 May, he was arrested again on suspicion of assaulting a pregnant woman and the owner of a convenience store, invading the shop and damaging a motorbike. A third incident later that morning led municipal guard officers to bring him back to the police station, after which he was released.

Police statements note repeated resistance and the need for progressive force. The artist’s representatives claim the incidents stem from a pre‑existing psychotic condition and are seeking medical evaluation.
