Vítor Matos named Championship Manager of the Month

Vítor Matos, manager of Swansea City, has been named the Championship Manager of the Month for August. Under his leadership, Swansea secured seven points from a possible nine during the month, including victories against Stoke City and Derby County. The team currently sits near the top of the league standings.

César Peixoto, manager of Wolverhampton, is also among the four nominees for the monthly award. Peixoto has been recognized for bringing a high-intensity style and organizational identity to his club. The other nominees for the distinction are Nathan Jones of Charlton and Julien Stephan of QPR.
