VTV presenter Phuong Thao moves to VTV5

VTV presenter Phuong Thao, originally from An Giang, has transitioned to a new role at the Ethnic and Rural Media Center (VTV5) in Hanoi.

After 18 years with Vietnam Television (VTV), Thao gained prominence in late 2021 when she became the first presenter from the Mekong Delta region to host the 19h News program, following the departure of Hoai Anh. She later moved to VTV9 to balance her professional duties with family life during her second pregnancy.

Following her departure from VTV9 in October 2025, she began working at VTV5 in November 2025, where she continues to host news and market programs.
