Serbia: SNS leaders launch election campaign and regional development plans
Serbian political leaders are intensifying efforts ahead of upcoming elections. Miloš Vučević, president of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), has launched a campaign for a 'unified Serbia' and announced a major public gathering in Novi Sad scheduled for two weeks from now. Vučević expressed confidence in a decisive victory for the list led by Aleksandar Vučić.
In parallel, President Aleksandar Vučić is focusing on regional development and infrastructure. During visits to southern Serbia, he announced a 4.5 million euro investment for the Bunusevac industrial zone in Vranje. In Trgovište, Vučić pledged state intervention to resolve liquidity issues and announced that reconstruction of the local Health Center will begin in approximately one month. He also highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects in the Raška District, including a new surgical block in Novi Pazar.
Additionally, the government has announced significant financial aid packages. This includes one-time payments for pensioners and social welfare recipients, as well as vouchers for domestic holidays, totaling hundreds of millions of euros in support.
