Vukosav Đorđević celebrates 106th birthday in Serbia

Vukosav Đorđević, the oldest citizen in Serbia, has celebrated his 106th birthday in Zaječar. Despite mobility challenges, he remains in good health and maintains mental clarity. Đorđević attributes his longevity to a lifetime of hard work, having worked for the railways until his retirement in 1977 and continuing in construction thereafter. He has been married five times and has four children, five grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In Croatia, the local publication Virovitički list is celebrating its 73rd anniversary. Established in 1953, it is one of the few local weekly newspapers in the Virovitica-Podravina County with an uninterrupted publication history. The paper provides coverage of economy, agriculture, politics, and culture, and has expanded its reach through digital formats and digitization projects.
