Vukovar prepares for Thompson concert to fund student housing

Preparations are underway in the Vukovar Economic Zone for a large-scale concert by Marko Perković Thompson. Infrastructure installation, including metal structures, lighting, and sanitary facilities, is currently in progress to transform the site into a major concert complex.

Thompson has announced that a portion of the proceeds from the August 29 event will be donated to the completion of the Salesian Student Dormitory of St. Joseph in Zagreb's Jarun district. The building, which has been abandoned for decades, is intended to provide housing and support for approximately 60 students. Additionally, the concert will support the ‘I ti si Vukovar’ campaign for the construction of the Stadium of 12 Croatian Policemen.
