Vukovar-Srijem County Road Administration announces new investment cycle

The Vukovar-Srijem County Road Administration has invested over 26 million euros into county and local roads between 2022 and 2025. These funds were utilized for major reconstructions, repairs of road objects, and traffic safety enhancements across a 622.55-kilometer network.

Director Hrvoje Čuljak noted that the administration secured additional funding through cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, and Hrvatske ceste. This collaboration allowed for larger-scale projects than could be achieved through internal revenue alone.

Key completed projects include the 12.33-kilometer reconstruction of the Otok – Bošnjaci route (7.8 million euros) and the 11.8-kilometer Prkovci – Babina Greda road (4.2 million euros). A new investment cycle valued at over 18.6 million euros is currently being prepared.
