Vuno to host global symposium on pediatric patient safety and AI

Medical AI company Vuno will host the ‘Global Patient Safety Summit in Pediatrics’ on September 19 at the Josun Palace Hotel in Seoul. This symposium follows the company’s earlier general summit held in February 2026.

The event focuses on Rapid Response Systems (RRS) and AI-based Early Warning Systems (EWS) designed to detect and respond to the clinical deterioration of pediatric patients. Because vital signs and deterioration patterns in children differ significantly from adults, specialized early response systems are considered critical.

International experts will participate, including Professor Christopher S. Parshuram from the University of Toronto, Professor Christopher M. Horvat from the University of Pittsburgh, and Professor Adam D. Irwin from the University of Queensland. Domestic experts, such as Professor Kim Yu-sun from Seoul National University Hospital and Professor Park Yu-kyung from Asan Medical Center, will also present on the current status and operational experiences of pediatric RRS and EWS in South Korea.
