Vybz Kartel announces upcoming album The Sun

Dancehall artist Vybz Kartel has announced his upcoming album, titled ‘The Sun’, which is scheduled for release on December 18. In a video shared on Instagram, Kartel described the project as a symbol of renewal and a ‘solar return’ to his musical roots, driven by a sense of purpose rather than a need to prove himself.

The album will feature hardcore lyrics exploring his life, hopes, dreams, and fears. It is being produced in collaboration with Chambah Music and will be his second album release of 2026, following previous projects such as ‘Viking (Vybz Is King) 10th Year Anniversary’, ‘Heart & Soul’, and ‘God & Time’.
