Vychylovka Museum hosts Dožinky harvest festival

The Museum of the Kysuce Village in Vychylovka is hosting the Dožinky festival to celebrate the harvest. The event includes demonstrations of grain milling, a traditional harvest procession, and a religious mass to give thanks for the year's yield.

A central feature of the celebration is a competition for the best homemade bread, where local bakers can participate for a chance to be voted the winners by visitors. The program also includes folklore performances by the Kýčera Folklore Ensemble from Ochodnica.
