Vyjayanthi Movies warns of fake casting calls for Kalki 2898 AD

Vyjayanthi Movies, the production house behind the blockbuster ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, has issued an official warning regarding fraudulent casting calls. The company clarified that it has not authorized any third-party agencies, individuals, or companies to conduct auditions or casting on its behalf.

In a statement shared via social media, the producers urged the public not to share personal information or audition materials with unauthorized persons. They specifically warned individuals against making any payments to anyone claiming to represent the production house. Vyjayanthi Movies noted that it reserves the right to take legal action against those misusing its name.

Regarding the production of the sequel, reports indicate that director Nag Ashwin has completed approximately 10 days of filming. While lead actor Prabhas is currently committed to other projects, the production is reportedly focusing on extensive pre-production and VFX work, which may delay the film's release until late 2028 or early 2029.
