Jackie Shroff honors Vyjayanthimala on her 93rd birthday

Actor Jackie Shroff shared a heartfelt tribute to veteran actress and classical dancer Vyjayanthimala on her 93rd birthday. In a video posted to social media, Shroff is seen meeting the legendary performer and touching her feet to seek her blessings.

Vyjayanthimala, a pioneering superstar of Indian cinema, began her career in 1949 with the Tamil film ‘Vaazhkai’ and later became a major figure in Hindi cinema with films such as ‘Nagin’, ‘Devdas’, and ‘Sangam’. Beyond her acting career, she is a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer and has served as a Member of Parliament. She was awarded the Padma Shri in 1968 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2024.

Additionally, Shroff extended birthday wishes to actress Yogita Bali, who celebrated her 74th birthday on August 13.
