Vyškov Deputy Mayor honored in Virovitica for long-term partnership

The Deputy Mayor of Vyškov, Kachlík, was honored in Virovitica, Croatia, for his two decades of work strengthening the partnership between the two cities. The award was presented by Ivica Kirin, the Mayor of Virovitica, during a municipal council session.

Since the partnership agreement was signed in 2001, the collaboration has focused on connecting people through various organizations, including art schools, choirs, libraries, and hobby groups. The region around Virovitica also maintains a significant Czech minority that preserves Czech traditions, language, and customs.
