Central Europe hosts diverse summer holiday closing events
Various regions across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Montenegro are hosting numerous cultural, musical, and community events to mark the final weekend of the summer holidays.
In the Czech Republic, activities range from the Svatováclavský music festival in Ostrava to blacksmithing demonstrations at Hefaiston in Helfštýn. Other regional highlights include wine festivals in Central Bohemia, zoo events in Zlín, and historical tours at various castles. Sports and community gatherings, such as the Beskydská sedmička race and local fire department celebrations, are also scheduled.
In Slovakia, programs include music festivals in Ružomberok and Malacky, as well as traditional craft presentations in Vlkolínec. Meanwhile, in Montenegro, police are increasing road patrols and using modern radar equipment during the weekend to enhance traffic safety as part of the ‘Live, don’t hurry’ campaign.
