Vylor to generate over 500 jobs in Arica
The seed company Vylor, formerly known as Corteva, is projected to generate more than 500 jobs in Arica as part of the ‘Modo Empleo’ plan. During an inspection of the company’s 500-hectare research center in Pampa Concordia, regional authorities from the Labor and Agriculture sectors reviewed the facility's impact on local agricultural development.
Vylor’s general manager, Matías Miño, noted that the company operates 12 greenhouses managing over 2 million plants annually and maintains partnerships with educational institutions to train future professionals. The initiative aligns with the national ‘Modo Empleo’ mandate, which aims to create over 100,000 jobs between 2026 and 2027 to address labor needs.
