Vysočina sobě concert series begins in Jihlava

The second year of the Vysočina sobě concert cycle is set to commence on November 12 at the DKO in Jihlava. Dramaturg Jaromír Javůrek, who has extensive experience as a conductor and former director of the Leoš Janáček Music Festival, is responsible for the programming.

Javůrek noted that the upcoming program includes bold selections, such as Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. He emphasized his goal of creating engaging programs that leave audiences with a smile, drawing on his professional background with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and the Bohuslav Martinů Women’s Choir.
