W. A. S. P. and KK's Priest launch North American tour
W. A. S. P. has launched their '1984 to Headless' North American tour, beginning in El Cajon, California. The tour features KK's Priest, a group including former Judas Priest guitarist K. K. Downing and singer Tim 'Ripper' Owens, as the opening act.
During the opening performance, W. A. S. P. focused their set on material from their first four studio albums, released between 1984 and 1989. The band also performed a live debut of the Uriah Heep cover 'Easy Livin' and the demo 'Mr. Cool'.
KK's Priest performed a mix of Judas Priest classics and tracks from their own recent albums, 'Sermon of the Sinner' and 'The Sinner Rides Again'. The six-week tour will continue through the United States and Canada, concluding in Anaheim on Halloween.
