Waalwijk to host De N8 youth cultural festival

Scholengroep De Langstraat has announced the inaugural edition of ‘De N8 van De Langstraat’, a new cultural festival for youth. Scheduled for Friday, November 20, the event will host up to 540 participants aged 12 to 18.

Participants will travel by bicycle to nine different cultural locations in Waalwijk, including Theater De Leest, Huis van Waalwijk, and the Midden-Brabant Library. The program was developed in collaboration with local art and culture teachers and regional partners to introduce young people to diverse artistic experiences. Over fifty students are involved in the organization or will perform during the event.

The evening is set to conclude at Jongerencentrum Tavenu with a performance by Kris Kross Amsterdam. General ticket sales begin on Saturday, October 3, at 18:00 via Theater De Leest, following an exclusive pre-sale for registered participants on October 2.
