Wałbrzych prosecutors seek dismissal of charges in illegal goat slaughter case
The Wałbrzych District Prosecutor's Office has submitted a request to the court for the conditional dismissal of criminal proceedings against three foreign nationals involved in the illegal slaughter of a goat. The individuals, two citizens of Bangladesh and one citizen of India, performed the slaughter in the back area of a catering establishment in Wałbrzych during a period when the premises were undergoing renovation.
Prosecutor Mariusz Pinder stated that the court's decision will depend on an assessment of the social harm caused by the act. Judge Agnieszka Połyniak of the Świdnica District Court confirmed that the motion has been received but a trial date has not yet been set due to the judge's illness. No substantive decision regarding the case has been made.
