Wacker Neuson CFO Change and Raised Earnings Forecast Boosts Stock
German construction equipment maker Wacker Neuson raised its 2026 revenue outlook to €2.3‑2.4 billion and lifted the EBIT‑margin target to 7‑8 percent, citing strong demand for building and compact machines and heightened infrastructure spending in Germany. The company said first‑quarter earnings already reflected the trend, with operating EBIT rising from €12.1 million to €41.5 million and the EBIT margin improving by 4.5 percentage points.
At the same time, the firm announced that Chief Financial Officer Christoph Burkhard will step down on 31 August 2026 after more than five years on the executive board. Reinhard Frisch, currently commercial managing director of the production subsidiary and a long‑time group employee, will assume the CFO role on 1 September 2026. The board highlighted Frisch’s extensive international experience.
The forecast upgrade nudged the share price modestly higher to €21.30, while the CFO departure triggered a brief sell‑off, with the stock slipping about 1.4 percent to €1.50 on the XETRA exchange.
