WACO Corp. completes Tokyo testing for redesigned ATLAS water refill station

WACO Corp. has successfully completed a Proof of Concept (PoC) in Tokyo, Japan, for its redesigned ATLAS smart public water refill station. The upgraded units were deployed at two supermarkets in Shinjuku in November 2025 to allow for real-world consumer interaction and feedback.

The redesigned ATLAS features a futuristic exterior intended to harmonize with public spaces while emphasizing reliability. Key technical features include a multi-stage purification system providing various water temperatures, UV LED technology for hygiene control, and dedicated functions for washing and sterilizing personal tumblers. The system also incorporates IoT for remote monitoring and digital signage for information delivery.

Following high consumer ratings regarding water taste, temperature, and purification reliability, WACO Corp. plans to accelerate the commercialization of ATLAS in the Japanese market and seek further global expansion.
