Waddinxveen hosts 112-day emergency services event

The 112-day event held at the Waddinxveen fire station drew significant interest from the public on Saturday, October 10. As the conclusion of the Safety Week, the event allowed visitors of all ages to engage with emergency services and view various specialized vehicles.

Demonstrations included presentations by the Mobile Unit’s Technical Unit, which showcased their response to various situations, including items related to Extinction Rebellion protests on the A12. The event also featured historical fire engines and participation from the Belgian police, who brought officers and a patrol car to interact with the community.
