Waelzholz Group to invest $65 million in new Mexican plant

Waelzholz Group has selected Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, for its first production plant in Mexico. The project involves an investment of 65 million dollars and is expected to create 100 jobs.

Company executives cited security, a solid industrial environment, strategic location, and the availability of skilled labor as the primary reasons for the decision. André Sereno, Director of Operations for Waelzholz Mexico, noted that the location will allow the company to be closer to customers and suppliers, thereby improving the supply chain. Heino Buddenberg, CEO of Waelzholz Group, added that the facility will enhance responsiveness to market needs through a shorter supply chain.

The announcement was attended by Coahuila Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas and Ramos Arizpe Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez Merino. The company plans to integrate and train local talent to manage both technical and administrative processes at the new site.
